Kamfest 2010

posted by Janey

Kamfest is designed to be a vehicle for Canadian Mental Health Association, Kamloops Branch to develop a positive and constructive relationship with the community.

Because our mandate is to provide advocacy, support people and families that live with mental illness, create awareness, and reduce stigma, we felt we needed a stronger and more positive relationship with funders, business, and the community at large.

We are grateful for the overwhelming response we have received from service organizations and business groups who have helped us over the last year in so many ways.

We are humbled by the clients who have told us that their lives have been transformed by the many acts of anonymous kindness we have received at our clubhouses,  Homeless Women’s shelter, and Emerald on Third.

Our job is easy because we get to see the faces of the lives you have made better—or even saved. You give generously to us and our sister organizations based on hope, faith, and belief—that your giving does make a difference. And we are here at the Sagebrush to tell you that it does, in a more profound way than you can imagine.

Kamfest is our way to celebrate a beautiful, generous and vibrant city. It is the gift of mental health back to you from Interior Savings, The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group and CMHA.

Come out on March 20, 2010 to enjoy the laughter as Bowser & Blue entertain you with a fun filled night of music and comedy: It is good for your Mental Health!
