Medal Winning Performance Finning Canada

posted by Melodie

At our closing ceremonies on December 10, 2009  we honoured our top 20 campaigns with medal presentations. #12 was the employees of Finning.  Finning has so much fun with their campaigns including such events as “brick a motor”, “excavator rodeo” and “executive leg shaving“  Thanks Finning for a job well done!!

To All,

I would like to share my heartfelt “Thank-you” for the level participation shown this year toward this very deserving cause..!

As we discussed at the on-set of the campaign “Kick-off”, if there ever was a year that we all needed to pitch in and support those that are in need or less fortunate than others due to a variety of reason or specifically the current “Recession”, now was the time..!

It makes me very proud to be part of the “Finning Family” and with the support noted by Julie below, we all can be “Proud” and everyone deserves a huge compliment, Well Done…!

I would like to say thank-you to Julie Fisher and those that assisted her in again running a successful campaign that we can all be proud of..!

But, I would like to say a “Big” thanks to Trevor Dueck who volunteered to wax his legs if we met or exceeded our target set for this year’s campaign.

Well, Trevor was truly a good sport and lived up to his end of the bargain, he provided @ 40 minutes of entertainment for everyone at Branch 07 including several customers …who we could say got “Fair Value” for their money spent…

Again, thanks for everyone’s involvement and support again this year.

Regards,

Jim

Finning Brick a Motor, Say What?

posted by Melodie

What a unique event put on by the very creative Julie Fisher at Finning in Kamloops. If you  remember Finning is renown in Kamloops for their very unusual special events for United Way.

This was a take off on the squares game: pay for a square and if yours in the winner you get the prize. this year the squares represented the time it would take a motor to blow up.

Watch the video It was tons of fun. Stay tuna’d for more Finning events.
