Student Summer Position - United Way

United Way is planning to hire a student for the summer to fill the position of Community Development Assistant. This position is subject to funding from HRSDC which will be known by May 1st.

If you know of a student who was a full-time student last year and will be returning full-time in the fall, please pass on the job description below to them. They must be between the ages of 15-30 years old (inclusive) and may be attending secondary school, post-secondary or any vocational or technical program.

Day of Caring: Urban Systems & Gardengate

On Saturday, April 4th Urban Systems employees once more “stepped up to the plate” with shovel in hand for a Day of Caring in Kamloops. THEO BC’s Gardengate project was the recipient of Urban System’s talented and caring employees as they dug a trench to install an underground irrigation system. Gardengate is an innovative horticulture project that aims to promote healthy eating and active living for persons with mental health issues, click here for more information.
